Zespri® Kiwifruit Dessert Pizza
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 2½ cups plain flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g chocolate spread
- 1 – 2 Zespri® Green Kiwifruit
- 1 -2 Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit
- ⅓ cup toasted coconut flakes
- edible flowers
Preparation time: 1½ hours
Baking time:15 minutes
In a bowl, mix water, honey and yeast. Leave it for 5 minutes so that the yeast starts to work.
Add flour, salt and oil. Knead the dough together. Cover with plastic and let it rise for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 160°C.
On a greased baking sheet, knead out your dough to form one large or several smaller sized bases for your pizza. With a fork, make some light indentations across the pizza bases.
Bake the pizza crust(s) for about 15 minutes, or until they turn golden, then remove and leave to cool slightly.
Spread an even layer of chocolate spread on the pizza crust(s).
Top with Zespri® Green Kiwifruit, Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit, coconut flakes, edible flowers and some sprinkles.
